How to search a database: JSTOR

How to find the information you need in our database.

JSTOR database

Inside the school network, you can access JSTOR using the search box below. 

If you need any help with database searching, take a look at  section of the Senior Library webpage. Select the 'search a database' page or speak to any of the librarians in the Study Zone for help.

 If you are not in school you will need  a special URL to access school's subscribed area of JSTOR, which you can access by logging in our portal  'Senior Firefly' service or ask a librarian

JSTOR can be accessed from within the school network at - http://www.jstor.org  

Note the 'Your access to JSTOR provided by Tanglin Trust School'  on the right upper corner which confirms you are attached to the school's area

Create your JStor Account - My JSTOR

MyJSTOR account to store documents, search Alerts, save Citations, create a Shelf 

Register for a free MyJSTOR account in order to:

  • Save citations
  • Email and export saved citations
  • Save and run searches
  • Receive email alerts for saved searches, tracked journals (eToc), and tracked citations
  • Download book chapters for later reading
  • Read content available in Register & Read

* * Please use your school email ID for registration

* * Institution name should be "Tanglin Trust School"
