Francesca Sanna is an illustrator and a children's book author.
She grew up in Italy and is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland.
She is an award-winning illustrator having won prominent awards such as the Ezra Jack Keats Award, CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal, Amnesty Honour and the Klaus Flugge Prize for her first picture book, The Journey.
As of to date, she has written and illustrated two books, The Journey and Me and My Fear.
