For example if you are doing a project on volcanoes you might use:

• information from books, magazines and websites,
• pictures you have found on the internet,
• and you may watch a video from a site like youtube to find more information.  

It is important that all the sources of information used for your piece of work, are included in your 'References' list.

So, as explained on the 'Referencing' page you need to include:

•  Citations in your work to show where you found the information you have used,
• a Reference List which includes more details about each of your citations.
