Species Endangerment

The range of wildlife in India is one of the richest in the world but a burgeoning human population, loss of natural habitat, poaching and hunting are all having a detrimental impact on a wide variety of species.    

Two examples of animals which are listed as endangered are the Bengal Tiger and the Snow Leopard.
