Which University?

So you are thinking about going to University.  First you need to decide which course you would like to pursue at University. Whether you are applying to the UK or not, you might find the following free online questionnaires helpful.

Which University shall I go to?

At the University in Munich (Day)

Once you've decided on a course, take time to research which university best suits you. Although they vary enormously in quality and accessibility, use the universities websites and really drill down to find out and compare the courses and university experiences.

Remember that the university prospectuses and websites are primarily marketing tools designed to show the university in its best light. So also use the independent websites and the Careers Library, based in Student Services, to help you make the right choices. Ask Tanglin Alumni for their experiences.

If you can, visit the universities, you will often instinctively know if a place is right for you the moment you arrive. Tanglin runs an annual UK Universities Trip for year 12 students taking them to a variety of universities throughout the UK.

Tanglin Careers Centre has a wealth of up-to-date information to help you.
