Find out how to use the self-check system in the Senior Library.

SELF-CHECK

Who can use it?

ALL Senior School Students, TTS Staff and Parents with a valid Senior Library account membership can use the self-check system.

If you are a new student  or library patron, kindly approach the circulation counter staff to register.

What can I self-check?

You can self-check any Fiction or Nonfiction books in the library.
Some library resources are to be checked-out at the circulation counter only. 

What item I cannot self-check?

You cannot borrow EEs & EPQs, Kits and DVDs at the self-check system. Please take them to the HELP Desk for the staff to check it out for you.

Where are the self-check machines?

All three (3) self - check stations can be found in the Interactive Zone of the Senior library. They are located near the HELP Desk.

What do I need?

You need your TTS Student ID Card to use this system.

If by any chance, the system cannot read your card. Kindly approach the counter staff to have your library account membership updated.

How to use the Self-Check system?

Step 1: Touch the screen to begin.

Step 2: Scan your student card.

  • You should see your name appear on the screen.

Two options will be displayed on the screen

Step 3a: To View your loans. Click View Account / Renew Items.

  • Items currently on loan to you will be displayed on the screen.
  • Click Back for another option.

Step 3b: To Check Out items. Click Borrow Items.

  • Place your books to borrow on the platform. If loan is successful, "List of titles" will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Approach the HelpDesk if there is an error message.

  • DVDs and Kits cannot be borrowed using the self-check station.

Step 5: Exit once you're done. 

  • Once you are done. Touch either the "Exit without receipt" or "Exit with email receipt"
