Tanglin School

The original Tanglin School was founded in 1925 with five children by Anned Griffith-Jones OBE. She founded the school so that the children no longer had to travel two weeks by sea to attend school in England while their parents remained in Malaya. Read more...

Cameron Highlands School

In 1934, Cameron Highlands - boarding school was established to provide education for European children up to the age 13 and to prepare them for common entrance examinations, so that it will be possible for them to pass directly into public schools on their return to England.

Raeburn Park School History

Raeburn Park was established by a group of Harbour Board Officials in 1954. The school was located in a Harbour Board property overlooking Singapore harbour hence the school was also known as the Harbour Board School. Read more...

Tanglin Prepararatory School

In 1961, after negotiating a 20-year lease on suitable premises in Tanglin Road, Tanglin Preparatory School was opened with Kathleen Crowe as its Headmistress. It was housed in an imposing black and white building named "Matheran" on the corner of Tanglin and Jervous Roads. Read more...

Weyhill Preparatory School

Weyhill Preparatory School was established by Tanglin Trust Ltd in 1971, in response to the ever-growing waiting lists at Tanglin Preparatory School and Raeburn Park. The school was established on Portsdown Road on the site of the previous Wessex Infant School, which was on the site of the present day senior school. Read more...

Winchester School

Winchester School, the nursery managed by Tanglin Trust Ltd., opened its doors in 1976. The school premises had previously been used as the Royal Army Ordenance Corps Mess at Alexandra Road. The school had four headmasters. Read more...

Tanglin Infant School

In 1981 Tanglin Infant school was established in the premises vacated by Weyhill Prep and Raeburn Park following the amalgamation of Weyhill Prep, Raeburn Park and Tanglin Prep. The school was able to accommodate 572 students.

Tanglin Junior School

In 1981 Tanglin Junior school was established in brand new premises with airconditioned classrooms at Portsdown Road following the amalgamation of Weyhill Prep, Raeburn Park and Tanglin Prep. The school was able to accommodate 650 pupils.
